Upmarket Holiday Rental Build Trend

In the estate of the Atholl Palace Hotel on the hill above Pitlochry, in the seclusion of the former walled garden, the owners have created a small collection of prestigious country lodges and apartments. Each of these spacious homes have been built to the highest modern standards and individually decorated.

Each lodge has a unique character, all five are luxurious and well equipped. All have a large flat panel TV and DVD player, radio and CD and all the essential small details for holiday makers. All lodges have a light modern kitchen, with plenty of workspace so that every one can join in with the cooking and tasting.

The lounge, sitting, dining and kitchen areas are on the first floor to take full advantage of the views of the peaceful Perthshire landscape. The large picture windows are a perfect vantage point to watch the families of Roe deer who come to graze on the lawns at dawn and dusk.

Besides the lodges there are three self contained apartments within ‘Highways’, a unique art deco building in the grounds built in 1936 for the chauffeurs of hotel guests. The interior of each of these well equipped apartments is completely new, delivering modern living standards in the peaceful surroundings of the hotel grounds.

Capacity in these various properties varies from two to eight adults, and they are available only on a weekly basis during the holiday season. However, the many out-of-season attractions becoming available in the Pitlochry area are expected to make them just as popular for 3 and 4 day breaks from November to April

Included is free use of the Atholl Palace Leisure Club which incorporates indoor pool, steam room and sauna, as well as other hotel leisure facilities including the championship tennis courts and the 9 hole pitch ‘n’ putt course.
