Castle's Plush New Wedding Venue
Blair Castle has opened its State Dining Room as an exclusive venue for private weddings. Catering from sixteen to fifty dining guests, it complements the castle’s existing functions facilities including the grand Victorian ballroom, the contemporary Banvie Hall and the dignified library.
As the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, it provides the perfect backdrop for the ultimate Scottish fairytale wedding.

The Castle’s own retained caterers, Prestige Scotland, will provide five star catering which can include anything from drinks receptions with canapés through to full six course gourmet meals with champagne, fine wine and liqueurs.
With its roots in the 13th century, Blair Castle is one of the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses and is certainly one of the most majestic. On arrival guests are welcomed into the impressive front hall, complete with red carpet, before being escorted by a piper through the castle. One of Britain’s oldest continuously inhabited houses, dating in part from 1269, Blair Castle believes it provides the most spectacular setting for any wedding.
