Changes at Lix Toll

Lix Toll Garage in Killin is now under the ownership of Jaswinder (Jaz) & Amrik (Rik) Sangha who moved to Killin from the Stafford area. Having leased out their own garage business interests in Stafford, the sale of Lix Toll interested them very much and they traveled to Scotland to check out the area. This is as far north they have ever been and were very taken with the wildness and outstanding beauty of the area and felt very welcomed by the people they met.

This was a big move for the family and has meant major lifestyle changes, but they are settling in well and are very happy to be here. Rik works alongside Jaz at Lix Toll with oldest child Julijvan attending Stirling University and Shareena attending Morrisons Academy in Crieff.

Jaz has 22 years experience of automobile related business management under his belt, and although Lix Toll, which has specialised in the refurbishment and sale of used Land Rovers since 1975, presents him with many opportunities and challenges ahead, he takes this on with great confidence.

Lix Toll Garage employs approximately 20 staff. Their workshop staff are very experienced with most having in excess of 20 years experience. Their stores staff operate a very efficient mail-order parts service with goods dispatched same day from their comprehensive stocks. Breakdown and recovery for both heavy and light vehicles is a 24 hour business and they have contracts with all major organisations. They operate six recovery vehicles, several courtesy vehicles and a Land Rover hire drive division.

Lix Toll Garage is a member of the Scottish Motor Trade Association, the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators and was recently awarded the prestigious Investors In People award. They regard their greatest satisfaction, however, in the amount of letters they receive from customers, thanking them for their service and also the amount of repeat business they enjoy.
