Partnership Appointment for Local Architect
McKenzie Strickland Associates has appointed Robert Johnston as a partner. The 39 year old has worked for the Aberfeldy and Crieff-based firm for five years.
An architecture graduate from Dundee University, he trained as an architectural technician with McLaren, Murdoch and Hamilton in Perth and his career also included a four year stint with Pask & Pask in Newport-on-Tay.
Robert, whose architect wife Siobhan also works for McKenzie Strickland Associates, said he was delighted with the appointment and was looking forward to playing a key role in the company’s continued growth.

The firm recently opened a new office in Crieff and is currently strengthening its staff with the recruitment of a further two new architects.
“It’s great to be stepping up my role at such an exciting time for the company. We have a really enthusiastic and creative team working on a fantastic range of projects – from designing unique new build and renovated homes to multi-million pound commercial and residential developments,” said Robert.
