New Lochside Eating Out Option

Highland Perthshire locals, Heather and Cameron Smith of Acharn, who run the Waterfront Restaurant at the Kenmore Club, have recently opened to the public at large for the new season.

They have a wide range of experience in the hotel and catering trade and, since taking over, have revamped the menu to bring in the best in fresh local produce.

Heather told Comment: “Since taking over, we have been delighted with the local support that we have received, and the feedback from our customers has been very encouraging.”

The couple is assisted by what they describe as “a fantastic staff, who like us, are driven to provide the best food and customer service possible.” Cameron emphasised: “We have a great team here - we are very lucky with all our staff.”

Value

Their emphasis at the restaurant is “wonderful food that offers great value for money”. Bar meals are offered in the cosy lounge. A more formal setting offers dining in the restaurant with prospects of stunning views of Loch Tay (see right).

The restaurant is now open to the public, every day between 10am to 12pm serving brunch, 12pm - 6.30pm serving bar meals and snacks and 7pm - 9.30pm for dinner.

Heather and Cameron (pictured above), who recommend booking, can be contacted on 01887 830829.
