Barhaul is Burgeoning
The latest phase of Barhaul’s continuing development and expansion in Aberfeldy Industrial estate has just been completed with a new purpose-built yard and shed at the top of Dunkeld Road (just along from the existing yard).
The new development is designed to keep all of the building supplies in one area and makes Barhaul the largest Builders Merchants in Highland Perthshire. “With the completion of the new sheds and yard, we are now able to stock a much larger quantity and variety of building supplies - such as plasterboard, plywood, cls and various lengths of dressed and rough cut wood”, said Henry Harrison, the Building Supplies Manager. |

“We have also employed a new sales manager, Jim Neave, who previously worked for one of the big builders merchants in Perth,. Jim’s new role is to liaise with new and existing customers, sourcing materials and generally working with myself taking orders and organising deliveries etc” continued Henry.
Barhaul has also expanded its plant hire fleet with the addition of a number of new machines which include a 1.5, a 5 and an 8 tonne excavator, there is also the addition of a 1 tonne high lift and 3 tonne slew-tip dumpers, plus a variety of smaller plant and hand held tools.
Two new vans have also been added - another of the popular long-wheel based Renault Master van, and the other a Luton bodied version. These bring the total number of vans for hire to five. Van hire manager Jim Strang still advises booking as far in advance as possible, due to their popularity!
